EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

PROGRAM

College Scholarship

Annual College Tuition ranges from $300 to $700 for undergraduate students. The tuition amount varies from institution to institution and the course of study.

In 2009, Kaimba Incorporated (dynasty House) started an education scholarship program for elementary and secondary school children. The program paid school fees for children whose parents did not have the financial capacity to pay school fees. From 2009 to 2018, 150 children and their families have benefited from the program.

In 2018, when the government of Sierra Leone declared free education for all elementary and secondary age children, the Board of directors of Kaimba Incorporated started a new education scholarship program to fund college tuition. This program provides scholarships for students who have met college entrance requirements and have earned acceptance to an accredited college institution but do not have the financial means to pay college tuition. There are 9 students in the program, all of whom were beneficiaries of previous scholarships. The organization adds a few more students to program each Fall.
