<image:caption>Joy was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, where she spent her early childhood before moving "out west" to Klamath Falls, Oregon. She majored in child development at Oregon State University and received her teaching certification from Portland State. A true lifelong learner, Joy loved her career as a first-grade teacher at John Wetton Elementary School in Gladstone. Joy raised her family in Lake Oswego, and after spending a handful of years as a full-time mom, transitioned into the real estate profession. She is now carrying on her father's legacy as the Vice President of R&H Leasing Company. Known for her love of travel, Joy is often visiting different countries, or in New York City, where she lives part-time. As a proud Greek-American, Greece is her very favorite travel destination. Her most recent project has been with the production of musicals and plays on Broadway. Joy attended the Dynasty House fundraiser last year, and was so moved by Dominic Yambasu's story and mission, that she wanted to be involved at a greater level. She is excited to serve, and can't wait to see the school in Motema Village be built.</image:caption>
